On May 23, the commission of the Russian Football Union for licensing football clubs made decisions on granting licenses to the RFU-1 and RFU-2 for performances in the RPL and FNL in the 2022/23 season.
In accordance with the Schedule of licensing of football clubs and financial control of football clubs for the 2022/23 sports season, in the period from May 5 to May 23, 2022, meetings of the RFU Commission on Licensing of Football clubs in the Russian Federation were held to review applications of RPL teams for obtaining an RFU License.
Following the results of the meetings, Sochi received a license from the RFU for the 2022/23 season.
