During the event organized by the RFSK and the city administration, the general director of the club Dmitry Rubashko acted as a donor at the central city blood transfusion station.
Ex-captain of the national team Alexey Smertin and Olympic champion in athletics Yuri Borzakovsky also took part in the blood donation procedure.
After donating blood, Alexey Smertin gave a comment on the upcoming Sochi games with Akhmat:
"Sochi will definitely play to win. Especially at home. I hope that tomorrow there will be sparkling football with an abundance of dangerous moments. But it is difficult for me to judge who will win."
We thank the RFU and the Sochi City administration for organizing the event, and we also hope that this action will motivate Sochi football fans to take an active part in the All-Russian donor week.
