The best season in the history of our club ended with a convincing victory over Dynamo in Moscow.

The game itself, as well as the entire championship, has strengthened new chords and numbers, which we have combined in one material.
We offer a selection of ten facts about the last and, perhaps, the most exciting match of the past season.

1. Mateo Cassierra's hat-trick was his first for our club and the second in our history. Earlier, Alexander Koorin scored three goals in one match in Sochi in June 2020.

2. In addition, the Colombian took the final second place in the list of Tinkoff RPL scorers, beating Fyodor Smolov. In total, Mateo now has 14 goals.

3. Thanks to the winning goal in the 33rd minute, the same Casserra became the vice-best player of the season in terms of the number of winning goals (4). Only by one goal he was surpassed by the midfielder of Nizhny Novgorod Niolai Kalins.

4. The victory over Dynamo was the first for Sochi since December 16, 2020. In addition, the "leopards" beat the "blue and white" for the first time at the VTB Arena since September 22, 2019.

5. Having made an assist to Mateo Cassierra, Christian Noboa entered the top 5 assistants of Tinkoff RPL all season. The Ecuadorian has 7 assists on his account.

6. The same two points of Christian helped him to become one of the top 10 scorers of the Tinkoff RPL season in "goal + pass", placing in eighth place. In total, he has 14 (7+7) points.

9. For the first time since the spring of 2019, Sochi has never lost for two months in a row. In April and May, the Southerners won five victories and drew three times.

10. The victory over Dynamo allowed the "bars" to take the second final place and for the first time in history to take the silver medals of the Tinkoff RPL. It should be noted that during the season until the last match, the Southerners only went to the second line three times: after the seventh, 11th and 14th rounds.
